The Learn Math Quickly program is an outstanding skill builder
that offers extensive remedial preparation and brush up for students
in the ABE II, the ABE III and the GED classes. In addition to intensive
practice, each unit features thought-provoking word problems that
help the students to apply mathematical concepts and to develop critical
thinking skills.
This program has provided me with the ability to meet the individual
learning needs of my students without hindering the progress of the
entire class. Great tool!

In preparing students
for the math GED exam, I use the Learn Math Quickly videos
in my classroom. Janet Scarpone's videos make it possible to have many
different lessons that can be taught at the same time. This allows the
students to be working on the math unit they need to be completing in
order to prepare them for the GED Test. Each video provides step-by-step
instructions and examples. The video lessons are also accompanied with
a workbook that provides guided practice, pre-tests and more than one
post-test. Her videos are like having a math instructor for each unit
with already planned lessons. I call the videos my extra hands.

It's very good to have videos in the classroom that are easy to understand.
Learn Quickly teaches just the right amount of skills at one time.
I especially like the geometry and measurement videos. The lessons
are simple and to the point yet they cover all the concepts. They
teach the building blocks--the basic skills--and are very easy to
use. We use the Learn Quickly Videos and Books in preparation for
the GED and the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) tests.
